Winter Breaks 2012

Mid Winter is a special time in Arisaig, peaceful, with empty beaches and often very still and calm weather..the  Autumn gales are past and the frost inland is never so extreme here. A fall of snow can transform Craigmore and the islands as you have never seen them before. The Studio and House are both very warm and welcoming to come home to after a walk, the oil fired central heating  keeps the properties cosy all the time. In the House there is a large open fire and logs, peat and coal are available. Winter visitors that love Invercaimbe during the quiet months  are Widgeon and Teal, Whooper swans, Curlew and Mergansers.
