CALCIFIED SEAWEED NATURAL SOIL CONDITIONER
Calcified Seaweed has long been recognized by crofters from the Highlands of Scotland as a natural and readily available source of calcium and phosphate. It acts as a soil conditioner, improving plant root growth and soil structure and is the perfect natural fertilizer for the vegetable and flower garden as well as a lawn feed. It is also suitable for pony paddocks as it can be applied by hand at a rate of 3cwt per hectare and it is safe to graze immediately after application. For reasons that cannot be explained ponies find the grass more palatable in fields that have had calcified seaweed applied.
